Fun Fly in Las Vegas

Darren has just got back from the Las Vegas Fun Fly and he would like to thank all the guys for a great week. Darren went with Trevor Wallinger and Rob Turnbull from Midland Helicopters and met up with the top pilots in the US including Nicholas Maxwell, Bert Kammerer, Alan Szabo Jr, Danny Szabo and of course Daniel Jetschin from Germany.

 

 

UK 3D Champs Great weekend was had!

Back from a long weekend competing at the champs in strong wind and cold conditions!This event just gets better by the year with some good night flying which was won by our new instructor Pete Ayriss. Myself and Emma had a good time flying and meeting some old faces we have not seen this year due to my illness. A big thank you to Mike and Rob for running the event and I know all the money raised goes to a cancer fund.

 

 

Align fun fly comp in Taiwan was great fun!

It was a very long way to go for a competition but was worth the long flight! We were made more than welcome and all the guys were great fun to fly with,and we got to see what the flying style was like in that part of the world amazing!!

Jamie Porter placed 3rd in grass roots competition

Congratulations to Jamie Porter who is a Rapidrotors customer and now a sponsored pilot.Recently participated in his very first 3D competition, 23 pilots competed in the event and Jamie did exceptionally well and came third, well done Jamie!!!

 

 

Darren placed 2nd at the Scottish Nationals.

Darren attended the Scottish Nationals in Aberdeen, a great time was had by all the weather held back and allowed us to have a great competition. The hosts of the event excelled in all they did which truly made the event. At the Scottish Nationals Darren placed 2nd in the 3D Freestyle event, and was pleasantly surprised in retaining his 3rd place title in the F3C considering he's had time out whist concentrating on both his 3D flying and this new flying school adventure. Big Thank You to Roger Mayo for lending Darren his F3C machine for the event.
