Rapid Rotors was born out of passion and enthusiasm for remote controlled helicopter flying. We saw a need in the Essex area for professional instruction and tuition to help people into flying RC model helicopters as it can be a difficult & expensive learning curve on your own.
Our aim is to accelerate your level of flying as quickly and safely as possible and to tailor the lessons to suit each individual. Alongside learning to fly, it is important to learn how to set up your machine to a style that suits you as this will enable to you progress with minimum difficulty. We instruct using a tried and tested method called a dual control ‘Buddy System’; this system enables us to take control of your helicopter at the flick of a switch providing you with a safety net when learning. Where needed we are also able to offer advice and supply equipment that is both reliable and meets the needs of the individual.
We are located conveniently near the A12 at Kelvedon in Essex. We can e-mail or send you a map and directions to our flying field.
